The Stage II Cam is great for daily driver applications and has made over 470 rwhp in "cam only" applications.
The Stage IV Cam was developed in conjunction with Martin Smallwood of Tick Performance. This cam has made over 500 rwhp in "cam only" applications. This is designed as a maximum effort camshaft while maintaining acceptable piston to valve clearance. With it's conservative lift it is easy on valve springs and valve tips.
Lift approaching .650" or more while using stock 15 degree rocker arms with too much open spring pressure can damage valve tips long term. We recommend maximum lift of .630" and maximum open pressure of 400 lbs when using stock rocker arms.
